POSITION)

Reports to: Marketing Engagements Manager

As the Project Manager, Technical Services, you will lead the end-to-end project management of website engagements while also supporting broader marketing services and non-web programs as a meaningful part of the role. In addition to website project delivery, this position plays an important role in managing Maintenance & Hosting ticket workflows, supporting internal technical implementations, and coordinating website product-related work. You will help ensure both project-based and ongoing work moves efficiently, stays organized, and is delivered through the right process from kickoff through completion.

You will work closely with the Lead, Web Strategy & Product, Account Managers, and collaborate across a cross-functional team that includes web strategists, UX/UI designers, SEO specialists, copywriters, developers, and broader marketing services team members as needed. You will be accountable for keeping both website and non-web work on time, on budget, and moving through the right process to completion.

This is a client-facing role that requires strong project management discipline, excellent communication, and a high level of comfort managing multiple concurrent workstreams within Forecast and other project and support tools.

Role & Responsibilities

Website Project Management

  • Lead end-to-end project management for website engagements from kickoff through launch, including planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout.
  • Build and manage detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and workback schedules for all website projects.
  • Ensure website projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in alignment with scope, process, and quality expectations.
  • Partner closely with the Lead, Web Strategy & Product, and web strategists to translate project strategy, scope, and requirements into clear execution plans.
  • Coordinate cross-functional work across account management, UX/UI design, SEO, content, copywriting, and development to keep projects moving efficiently.
  • Manage project risks, blockers, scope changes, and timeline impacts proactively, escalating when needed and driving resolution.
  • Facilitate internal and client-facing meetings related to project status, timelines, decisions, approvals, risks, and next steps.
  • Maintain strong visibility into project health, budget usage, and resource needs throughout the full lifecycle of each engagement.
  • Ensure handoffs between strategy, design, content, SEO, development, QA, and launch are organized and clearly documented.

Broader Marketing Services Project Management

  • Provide project management support for non-web marketing services engagements as needed
  • Partner with account management and delivery leads to support timelines, coordination, task management, and execution across broader agency workstreams when technical services workload permits

Technical Services Oversight Support

  • Own intake, prioritization, tracking, and coordination of Maintenance & Hosting tickets across internal teams and client needs
  • Manage ticket status, turnaround expectations, and communication with both internal stakeholders and clients
  • Oversee ticket workflow hygiene in the support/ticketing system, including assignment, follow-up, documentation, and closure
  • Lead project management for ATS sync implementations, including kickoff, requirements coordination, timeline management, stakeholder communication, testing coordination, launch readiness, and issue resolution
  • As needed, facilitate monthly reporting workflows for maintenance and hosting clients, including report coordination, review, and distribution.

Client Communication & Service Delivery

  • Serve as a key point of contact for client communication across website, technical services, and broader marketing services engagements, as assigned.
  • Provide clear, proactive, and professional communication to clients regarding timelines, deliverables, ticket status, open items, risks, dependencies, and next steps.
  • Help ensure clients have a consistent, organized, and positive experience across both project-based and ongoing support engagements.
  • Coordinate with internal technical, marketing services, and account teams to resolve client issues efficiently, maintain alignment, and minimize disruption.

Forecast, Process & Operational Discipline

  • Use Forecast as the core project management tool for project setup, planning, resourcing visibility, task management, timeline tracking, and budget oversight.
  • Maintain accurate project plans and task structures in Forecast to support delivery visibility, team coordination, and financial discipline.
  • Track actuals against estimates and flag risks to timelines, budgets, or team capacity early.
  • Ensure website and technical services follow agency processes and documentation standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, tools, documentation, ticketing processes, and project management practices across the web function.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Stay informed on website delivery best practices, technical workflows, and evolving WordPress, Webflow, HubSpot, hosting, and support operations.
  • Participate in training and professional development to strengthen project management and technical services capabilities.
  • Take on additional projects, as assigned, in support of ClearEdge’s technical services and broader business goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in website development, digital delivery, technical services, or a related agency environment.
  • Proven experience managing website projects from kickoff through launch.
  • Proven experience coordinating ongoing support, maintenance, or retainer-based client work.
  • Strong experience building and managing project plans, timelines, dependencies, budgets, and cross-functional workflows.
  • Experience working in project management systems, preferably including Forecast or similar tools.
  • Experience working within a ticketing or support request system and managing multiple incoming priorities with strong follow-through.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional internal teams.
  • Strong organizational and operational skills, with close attention to detail and a high standard for accountability.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and support requests in a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Technical aptitude and familiarity with website platforms and environments, including WordPress, Webflow, hosting, and common website support workflows.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues early and drive resolution.
